Your opportunity

We have an role within our business for an Environmental & Sustainability Analyst.

As the Environment & Sustainability Analyst you will play an integral role in delivering our ambition of being a responsible and sustainable business.


You will be a trusted business partner and advisor to the Living Destination Customer Experience Teams, the Operations & Environment Team, and the Energy & Renewables Team.

You will be responsible for assisting Scentre Group in the ongoing validation and verification of environmental data, providing enhanced insights to drive continued environmental performance improvement, and supporting our broad suite of ESG disclosures.

Adding value by assisting in the financial analysis of business cases that support the delivery of our Environment Initiatives.

  • Deliver excellence in data management and analytical reporting
  • Compiling Environmental data and supporting commentary to support our legal and voluntary reporting obligations. This includes Scentre Group's Annual Responsible Business Report, NGER's Reporting, GRESB, CDP.
  • Business Partner with our Living Destination Teams and the National Operations & Environment Team to provide key insights that will enable the development and refinement of Scentre Group's environmental strategy.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to obtain and analyse data
  • Perform ongoing data quality assessments, identifying discrepancies/inconsistencies, and resolving them
  • Continuous improvement of reporting processes, including streamlining and automating of processes
  • Preparing Reports and insights for our Joint Venture Partners and Business Partners when required
  • Prepare Business Cases that support the delivery of our Environment Initiatives.

  • Tertiary qualifications in either finance, property, environmental science or other relevant translatable discipline
  • Proven ability to process and analyse large volumes of data, with a strong attention to detail
  • High level of competency using Microsoft Excel in financial analysis, spreadsheet development and data analysis
  • Flexible and adaptable approach to meet changing business needs
  • Be a confident, clear communicator as well as possess strong stakeholder engagement skills
  • Able to adapt quickly to shifting priorities and work effectively under pressure with multiple deliverables
