Café Manager for their Broadmeadows Central venue.

These roles are full-time (5-day roster over 7-day trade).

The Role:


In either of these positions, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to increase foot traffic and revenue, managing a team of passionate baristas and servers, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining a clean and organized cafe environment.

More specifically, the responsibilities are varied as the following:

  • Developing and implementing sales strategies to increase foot traffic and revenue
  • Managing and leading a team of staff, including hiring, training, and rostering
  • Ensuring that all food and beverages are prepared and presented to the highest standard
  • Maintaining inventory levels and ordering supplies as needed
  • Implementing new menu items and promotions as directed by the headoffice
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Managing the financial performance of the cafe, including monitoring costs and revenues and making adjustments as needed
  • Creating and maintaining relationships with customers, suppliers, and vendors
  • Managing the marketing and promotional activities of the cafe to increase brand awareness and drive sales

You:

  • Proven experience as a cafe or restaurant manager
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Strong sales and customer service skills
  • Ability to manage and motivate a team
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations
  • Ability to manage finances and control costs
  • Passion for creating a welcoming and enjoyable customer experience
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
  • Must have full working rights in Australia
