Our Needs

We are seeking a dynamic and ambitious individual to join our team as a Junior Operations Manager in Sydney. Reporting to the Operations Managers, this role will involve overseeing day-to-day security operations across multiple sites, ensuring exceptional service delivery and supporting the development of our team.

Responsibilities of the Role

As the Junior Operations Manager, your duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Managing day-to-day security operations
  • Cultivating a customer-centric environment within the team
  • Assisting with event planning and coordination
  • Implementing people management practices such as rostering and performance management
  • Ensuring teams are equipped with necessary skills and resources
  • Upholding company policies and safety standards
  • Generating and distributing client and internal reports
  • Acting as a relief security officer when needed

Job Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have the following:

  • A 1A Security Licence, First Aid Certificate, and full NSW Drivers Licence
  • Cert IV in Training & Assessment, Security Risk Management, or Frontline Management (preferred)
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in security operations
  • Experience in developing security documentation and operational plans
  • Strong leadership and team development skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
  • Excellent organizational and communication abilities
  • Strong time management and forward planning skills
  • A desire to advance in the security industry
