Manager, Group Credit Structuring (Large Corporate Team)

The role is to work with our business partners to support customers who require turnaround or financial restructuring and develop balanced outcomes for our stakeholders. Our outcomes are focused on a turnaround of the customer's ongoing viability and preserving the relationship with CBA. Where this is not possible, we work with customers in a respectful and collaborative manner that meets community and shareholder expectations.

In Group Credit Structuring we for our customers by listening, assessing any vulnerability concerns and taking their individual circumstances into account (including their mental and physical wellbeing). We have the to use our judgement and constructively challenge our stakeholders, as appropriate. We pride ourselves on our broad experiences by sharing insights and providing guidance on risk related matters to our business partners.

Do work that matters:

It's an exciting time to be joining our Large Corporate Team and in this role you'll be working with complex, high exposure, domestic and global customers originated from both Major Client Group and Institutional Banking and Markets. Other aspects of the role will include credit monitoring and overview, implementation of policy, operational risk, training and guidance across Risk teams and Business bankers.

You will learn financial analysis, credit and structuring skills, undertake delicate and complex negotiations and develop an understanding of financial restructuring / insolvency processes as well as the importance of the Bank's capital adequacy requirements.

We're interested in hearing from people who have:

Experience in managing customer relationships with a preference for having assisted customers that require turnaround or financial restructuring. Ability to demonstrate care by having conversations with customers, whilst also having the courage to be . Experience in syndicated debt transactions / corporate finance / risk / credit, including exercising a lending delegation and using judgement in a financial institution would be advantageous. Ability to think outside the box, be quickly to new situations. Provide sound, consistent risk management decisions. Experience engaging and managing a wide array of stakeholders. Advanced financial analysis, written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in financial modelling will be highly regarded.
