The opportunity
This Team Leader opportunity is for you Be a part of the journey as GWW looks to deliver over $300 million worth of projects per year for the next 10 years see what we are working on here
You will provide exceptional service in leading a team to deliver a designated infrastructure works program to time, cost, and WHSEQ requirements.
This role will show case your project delivery expertise, knowledge of infrastructure/ construction industry, Water Act, cultural heritage, and environmental protection acts and building key partner relationships.
Responsibilities
- Guide and supervise a hardworking team capable of delivering required business outcomes
- Facilitate and embed Project Management processes to develop and deliver works programs
- Mentor the team to achieve the successful completion of projects to ensure they are commissioned and fully functional prior to hand over
- Create proactive processes to run program budgets, project spend, and complete project and program reporting
- Build positive relationships internally and externally, including with delivery partners and project partners
Skills & Experience
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Construction, Engineering, or related fields
- Experience in working with regulators such as Work Safe, EPA and local, state, and federal government departments
- Proven experience in design and infrastructure construction projects
- Program Management, Project Governance and Risk Management experience
- Expertise around the procurement, negotiation, and management of construction contracts
- Soft skills in relationship building/ management, with internal and external stakeholders
