This role is the first point of contact for HomeCare client enquiries.

The purpose of this role supports the potential client to match their needs and preferences for home-based care and service with a tailor-made, individualised suite of services from the BlueCross HomeCare offerings.


You will also be responsible for:

  • Providing expert advice on the variety of aged care home-based services provided by BlueCross that would best fit a potential client's needs and preferences
  • Advising potential clients on the range of BlueCross services to meet their needs
  • Navigating My Aged Care website in response to referrals and enquiries
  • Set up assessment visits for potential clients
  • Supporting the client journey from enquiry, to admission, and including an initial satisfaction review
  • Supporting a high conversion rate from enquiry to client
  • Monitoring current client base for conversions to higher level of care ie Commonwealth Home Support Program to Home Care Program
  • Coordinating referrals, service agreements and administration processes to commence service assessment
  • Follow up with clients for satisfaction surveys of service delivery including the use of CarePage survey
  • Administrative tasks related to own role

Essential

  • Understanding of aged care assessment and eligibility of different Government funded Programs
  • Experienced and skilled in triage and sales
  • Excellent customer service skills that lead to highquality customer service experience and satisfaction
  • Highly developed skills in maintaining client management systems
  • Strong communication skills and capacity to maintain the personal dignity and confidentiality of all clients and their representatives
  • Demonstrated ability to follow guidelines with a strong attention to detail
  • Capable of working effectively with a highly interactive team
  • Experienced user of Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Office
  • Highly organised and experienced with administrative tasks
