We are currently looking for a dedicated and experienced OpticalDispenser to work with our Cumberland Park and Glenunga Opticalteams.

Optical Dispensers are critical in enabling us to fulfil ourpurpose because they:

Provide extraordinary customer service and consult with ourcustomers, to ensure they get the best advice and solutions fortheir optical needs.Ensure our optical stores are beautifully presented andwell-stocked, so our customers feel welcome and enjoy theirexperience in our stores.Demonstrate the value of National Pharmacies membership to ourcustomers

People who excel as Optical Dispensers consistently demonstrate:

Confidence in delivering outstanding customer service andadvice to a diverse range of customers with a broad variety ofoptical needsA methodical approach, and attention to detailA flair for fashion, and helping customers choose a frame thatsuits themAdaptability and flexibilityThe ability to work effectively in, and contribute to, acommitted teamWillingness to continue to learn about the products andservices Optical by National Pharmacies offers.

To be successful in attaining this position, you must have:

Knowledge and experience interpreting opticalprescriptionsExperience selecting and fitting optical frames for a range ofpeople taking into account lifestyle and physical need.Ability to ensure that delivery of patient jobs, lenses andcontact lens orders, and ordering frames and sundry items isaccurate and timely.Knowledge of frame selection related to opticalprescriptions.Successful experience adjusting and repairing frames.Certificate 4 in Optical Dispensing, and previous exposure toOptomate software will be highly regarded.
