As our Business Intelligence Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping our data strategy, harnessing the power of information to drive informed decisions and propel us towards success.
Reporting the CIO, you will oversee all aspects of Paragon Care data platforms, including the strategic management of a Snowflake Data Warehouse, development and analysis through Power BI, and data orchestration using Azure Data Factory.
You will be designing and maintaining robust data architectures, ensuring seamless integration across various platforms, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. These efforts are essential for developing scalable platforms and delivering accurate data reporting and analytics that influence strategic business decisions.
Key responsibilities include:
- Further developing Paragon Care roadmap for the delivery of its Business Intelligence strategy
- Oversee all aspects of the Paragon Care data platforms leading the architectural design, development and testing of the Datawarehouse.
- Lead development and analysis ensuring effective reporting and data visualization that supports strategic decision-making.
- Create and manage data flows and integration, ensuring data is accurately and efficiently processed and ingested from core systems.
- Design and maintain robust data architectures
- Manage the priority and implementation of projects, change requests, defect fixing, and ongoing maintenance for the entire Business Intelligence solution.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives aligned with best practices to enhance the functionality, capability and efficiency of data warehousing, reporting, analytics and tools.
- Lead and mentor a small, dynamic team, allocating and managing tasks, fostering a culture of teamwork, continuous improvement and user-focused service
- Collaborate with other department heads and stakeholders to understand their data needs and deliver the appropriate solutions
- Ensure compliance with data governance and data security policies and regulations
You're a hands-on and proactive leader ready to drive insights and innovation. You will be managing a small but dynamic team and display:
- Proven experience as a BI Manager/Lead, with demonstrated capability in managing business intelligence initiatives and small teams
- Proficiency in Azure Data Factory for setting up and managing ETL processes, data pipelines and data-driven workflows
- Strong understanding and experience with Snowflake as a Data Warehouse solution including architecture, data storage, optimisation and scalable computing
- Expertise in Power BI for creating dynamic reports and dashboards, including proficiency in DAX for advanced data manipulation
- Familiarity with Power BI administration, including setting up workspaces, managing access, and configuring data refresh schedules.
- Advanced SQL skills for complex querying and performance tuning
- Experience in data modelling and constructing relational and dimensional data models.
- Strong project management skills and experience with Agile methodologies within the BI domain.
