We have an opportunity for an experienced Electrical Training Coordinator to join the team at our Westernport office situated onsite at BlueScope Steel.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver technical training materials to apprentices, in accordance with industry standards and regulations
  • Provide handson instruction in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems
  • Monitor apprentices' progress and provide feedback and support to help them achieve their learning goals
  • Administer assessments to evaluate apprentices' knowledge and skills
  • Maintain accurate training records for each apprentice, including attendance and progress reports
  • Maintain a safe working environment in the training facility, and ensure apprentices are aware of and follow all safety procedures

About you:

  • A minimum of five years of experience in the electrical trade
  • Hold a valid "A" Grade Licence
  • Experience in training and mentoring electrical apprentices
  • Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software
