About the Role:

The Head of Strategy position is pivotal in defining the future direction of Anglicare. Collaborate with the Executive and Senior Leadership Teams to craft strategic plans, spot growth chances, and ensure they align with Anglicare's Vision, Mission, and Values, as well as its business operations, positively contributing to individuals and communities in NSW.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Shape the corporate strategy for the medium to long term, including defining key performance indicators
  • Lead strategic initiatives across various business units, such as strategic assessments and identifying growth opportunities
  • Provide insights and advice to the Anglicare Executive and Board
  • Oversee the implementation and effectiveness of the corporate strategy
  • Stay updated on industry trends in aged care and integrate relevant insights into strategy development
  • Guide and empower a team of strategy professionals, fostering a dynamic team culture to help team members reach their full potential
Essential Criteria:
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in Business Administration or relevant field
  • Proven track record in senior corporate strategy roles or top-tier management
  • Demonstrated leadership experience and skills within a team environment
  • Strong analytical abilities and business acumen, translating complex data into strategic recommendations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, adept at navigating complex organizations and influencing stakeholders at all levels
  • Passion for enhancing the lives of older Australians, ideally with experience in aged care, retirement living, or home care
