About the role:

Our Early Learning Centre is located on the grounds of St Brendan's Catholic Primary School.

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Early Childhood Educator to join our team that excels in understanding the needs of children and is dedicated to creating a warm, caring and safe environment.

This is a permanent part time role working 2 days per week, 7:30am-5:30pm Thursday and Friday.

The Early Childhood Educator is responsible for:

  • Assisting in implementing and evaluating programs for children aged 3-5 years in an Early Learning Centre
  • Taking on the position of the responsible person when required
  • Working with the Director in ensuring compliance with relevant law, regulations and National Quality Framework
  • Providing a safe, nurturing and positive learning environment for children
  • Building strong and effective relationships with children and their families
  • Ability to form collaborative and positive relationship with colleagues

To be considered for this role you will:

  • Hold a Diploma in Children Services
  • Experience working in Children Services, particularly with children aged 3
  • Completed 'Identify and Respond to Children and Young People at Risk of Harm'
  • Completed or willing to complete Safe Food Handling training
  • Have a current Working with Children Clearance, First Aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxis
