The School Curriculum and Standards Division (the Division) is seeking to recruit a highly motivated and skilled Manager, Finance to join our Executive team.

The Division provides administrative and secretariat services for and implements the decisions of the School Curriculum and Standards Authority (the Authority). The Authority provides quality curriculum, assessment and standards to enable all Western Australian students to become confident, creative learners and active, informed citizens who contribute positively to society.

As the Manager, Finance, you will:

have key responsibilities in leadership and financial management of the Division's budget, client and stakeholder management and manage the operations of the specialised executive services branch. report to the Executive Director – School Curriculum and Standards and collaborate closely with the Authority Chief Finance Officer on budget planning and reporting and overseeing variations to the corporate budget and projected budget outcomes and facilitate any requirements for budget adjustments. develop plans and systems to support/enable/monitor the achievement of the Authority's vision and imperatives in alignment with the Authority Board's strategic objectives. support the Executive Director ­– School Curriculum and Standards with the provision of accurate and timely briefings and the preparation of parliamentary and ministerial responses on Authority and Division budget matters. develop and manage financial strategies and processes to facilitate efficient and effective budget development and reporting. provide high level advice to the senior management on budget formulation and management issues.
