About the role.**:


Our government client is seeking an experienced Automation Specialist (OpenStack infrastructure engineer) in a technical role that involves designing, implementing, and maintaining infrastructure and services based on the OpenStack cloud computing platform.


Key responsibilities.**:

On-call or out of hours work may be required.

Key duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Building and implementing Private cloud infrastructure solutions, including compute, storage, and networking components.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving issues with Private Cloud infrastructure and services.
  • Automating infrastructure deployment and management using tools such as Ansible and Satellite.
  • Developing and maintaining custom scripts and tools to streamline operational tasks.
  • Performing capacity planning and performance tuning for private cloudbased infrastructure.
  • Providing technical guidance and support to other team members and stakeholders.
  • Migration of workloads from legacy platforms to current platforms.
