Role Requirements:

The Senior Test Automation Specialist is essential in ensuring that all devices, applications, and modifications provide an exceptional customer experience. You will be responsible for designing and developing automated testing processes that support the integration and verification of products before they are launched, ensuring compatibility with our network while maintaining a high-quality customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

The Senior Test Automation Specialist will leverage their development and coding skills to create automated test cases and suites across diverse technologies. You will collaborate with both test and design engineers, utilizing your scripting and coding expertise to enhance existing testing methods and develop new testing capabilities for Networks, Monitoring, Control applications, and Unified Communications.

To Succeed in This Role:

Applicants must be Australian Citizens and possess a minimum of current NV1 clearance. This position requires maintaining an Australian Government NV1 security clearance.

  • Experience in a complex integrated testing environment.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages, including:
  • Python
  • Bash
  • Ansible
  • Familiarity with programming languages and operating systems, such as:
  • Linux
  • Java
  • Experience with test automation and CI tools, including:
  • iTest
  • Selenium
  • GitLab/GitHub
  • Jenkins
  • Docker
  • Knowledge of Test Management tools, such as:
  • Jira/Confluence
  • XRay/Xporter
  • Proven experience as a Test Automation Engineer with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Skills in designing and developing Test Automation scripts.
  • Experience in API Automation using REST/SOAP and Postman.
  • Familiarity with Cloud technologies, including VMWare and containers.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD practices, infrastructure as code, and DevSecOps.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a high-performing team.
  • Experience in reviewing requirements, creating procedures, and executing both automated and manual test scripts.
  • Understanding of overall DTCN solutions and implementation.
