The Opportunity:

Provide onsite and offsite technical support for internal and external customers. Key drivers are to eliminate technical issues and to assist with maximising equipment availability, reliability and productivity on Komatsu equipment.

Roster: 7/7 Roster

Role Located: Bowen Basin Mine Site

What we are looking for:

  • Trade certificate
  • High degree of mechanical and electrical aptitude.
  • Hold a broad based knowledge/working experience on Komatsu equipment.
  • The ability to communicate and foster relationship with the Customer, Komatsu and Site personnel.
  • Excellent understanding and commitment to safety and the environment.
  • Must have working knowledge local and mine specific, OH&S and industrial legislation.
  • Ability to analyse / troubleshoot complicated hydraulic, mechanical and electrical technical problems and provide solutions.
  • Ability to read and understand hydraulic and electrical drawings.
  • An understanding of maintenance targets including availability, reliability, parts management and component life cycle management.
  • Well-developed written and oral skills including use of Microsoft Office.
  • Appropriate demeanor to create and work in a positive team atmosphere.
