Job Description:

This is a fantastic opportunity to work with one of the best teams of investigative journalists in the country.


A Current Affair has long been the voice of everyday Australians, standing up for the underdogs and putting the viewer at the heart of every story.

They also engage and entertain millions of viewers each week with exclusive interviews, vision and stories that have the whole country talking.


The role primarily involves working with the journalists to ensure ACA digital content is of a high quality and pushed across all Nine digital platforms.

We also expect you to come up with innovative coverage ideas around existing and planned ACA content.

Day to day you will:

  • Update existing ACA stories
  • Come up with innovative ideas to add extra value to digital stories
  • Implement SEO best practice for all content
The digital news producer is based out of Sydney from Monday to Friday

Qualifications:

What we would like to see:

  • Previous experience in digital news or relevant publishing experience in print media, broadcast media or online
  • Demonstrated writing skills essential, with proven ability to produce clear compelling copy
  • Excellent knowledge of the English language, grammar and syntax
  • Strong digital platform skills and a working understanding of all social media platforms
  • An understanding of legal best practice, including defamation laws
  • Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop or Canva preferable
