Position Title:
NDIS Plan Management - LINC Disability Services -**
Permanent Part-time

Purpose:
To Plan Managers are financial intermediaries for your NDIS funding.

The role is to pay participants service providers using the NDIS funding and advise participants on what they can and can't spend funds on.


Responsible to:
LINC Disability Business Manager, and LINC General Manager

Location of Position:
This position is located at the LINC building at: 1 Padley Street LITHGOW.

Scope and purpose of the position:The role will support participants payments for services, liaise with the client, their creditors, and the NDIS.


The Disability Plan Management role is responsible for keeping track of funds and takes care of financial reporting for participants.

The role will ensure accurate documentation to support all activities to ensure all participants can be funded correctly. The role will be responsible for directly receiving invoices from Providers or via participants. Claiming funds simultaneously from the NDIS portal. Preparing monthly statements to the participants including summary of expenditure, and breakdown of budget totals remaining.

1. Administration
1.1 Tracking expenses and funds for plan participants to ensure LINC provides support in accordance with the service agreements.
1.2 Proactively engage with external stakeholders to increase service users for plan management.

1.3 Ensure effective liaison/communication with clients, confidentiality, diversity awareness, provision of information and effective internal and external referral practices. Understand significant stakeholders and building a network of service providers, as required

1.4 Assist with entering all new staff into Supportability and initial instruction for new users on setting up their
Supportability account as required

1.5 Proactively pursue process improvement and efficiency as they grow their capacity, identifying opportunities to provide more effective plan management support to the team and ultimately to our participants.


2. Client Services
2.1 Checking providers are reputable and have all relevant authorisations.

2.2 Assist with the annual increase for supported accommodation for residents to ensure billing reflects changes and accurately reporting in Supportability.

2.3 Preparation of plan management service agreements and other agreements as directed.
2.4 Support participants to establish service agreements with providers and explore budgeting options or scenarios.

2.5 Provide high standards of care and client experience, financial administrative systems, and processes, thus assisting in effectiveness of our service, efficiency, and customer satisfaction for our participants.

2.6 Connecting participants with relevant services to maximise their funding.

3. NDIS Management

3.1 Assist the Manager with documentation for all reporting requirements for our participants to the corresponding funding bodies as and when required.

3.2 Ensure any and all data collection requirements and documentation is recorded using the designated formats.
3.3 Ensure all standards, guidelines, consumer plans and the relevant policies and procedures are always followed when completing duties.
3.4 Maintain current knowledge and understanding of the relevant organisational and individual services policies, procedures, and guidelines.
3.5 Compilation of NDIS Billing Data for One to One, Group and Accommodation Services.
3.6 Claiming all Disability activities including Group/Accommodation/1:1 services/Plan Management/Support

Coordination on weekly basis.
3.7 Claiming payment from the NDIS Portal.
3.8 Keeping accurate records of claims made to and from the NDIS.

3.9 Assist participants in the review of their plans including annual reviews, change of circumstances or new plans that have sufficient support.

Part-time hours: 25 per week

Salary:
$ $36.00 per hour
