French Tarts Wholesale Bakery is seeking an experienced baker to join our team.

As a member of our team, you will be responsible for producing high-quality baked goods, including French tarts, croissants, and other pastry items.

We are looking for a skilled baker with a passion for creating delicious and beautiful baked goods.

  • 30+ hours per week
  • Shifts 6am 2:30pm OR 2pm 10:30pm

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare dough and batter according to established recipes and techniques.
  • Roll out dough, shape pastries, and fill tarts with fruit, cream, and other fillings.
  • Monitor baking process and adjust temperature and cooking times as needed.
  • Decorate pastries with glazes, icing, and toppings.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, following health and safety guidelines.
  • Order and stock supplies as needed.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure timely production and delivery of baked goods.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience as a baker, with experience in French pastry preferred.
  • Knowledge of pastry techniques and baking equipment.
  • Ability to read and follow recipes, adjust recipes as needed, and troubleshoot baking issues.
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing highquality baked goods.
  • Flexibility to work early morning shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods of time, lift up to 20kg, and work in a hot environment.

Salary:
$ $42.80 per hour
