The Position:


As a STEM Coach, you will be an integral part of our team, helping to ensure the STEM Program operates efficiently and effectively across the School.


Key priorities for the role include:

  • Supervising and coaching students in STEM activities on a weekly basis.
  • Maintaining a record of student attendance.
  • Communicating unapproved student absences.
  • Supervising the set up and pack up of the equipment.
  • Liaising with the Director of STEM and various stakeholders.
  • Actively seeking information regarding additional student needs.
  • Ensuring any Junior School students (K6) are picked up by an authorised adult/guardian.
This is a Casual position (Monday between 3.15pm and 5pm. Wednesday shifts may be a possibility).


This role requires the successful applicant to hold a valid NSW Working with Children Check, a current NSW Police Check and to be fully COVID vaccinated.

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will have teaching qualifications and experience with junior and/or Senior Students. Coaching and mentoring within the STEM space and a strong curriculum knowledge is highly desirable.

You will also display strong verbal and written communication skills, and an ability to remain calm and approachable towards students.

You will be capable of working collaboratively within a team environment and be committed to supporting the values of Wenona as you undertake your role.
