Position Overview:

As a Diploma Qualified Educator at Little Shining Stars Evanston, you will play a crucial role in providing a stimulating and safe environment for children to learn and grow.

You will work collaboratively with a team of educators to implement educational programs, encourage creativity, and ensure the well-being of the children in your care.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement ageappropriate educational programs that promote children's learning and development.
  • Observe and assess children's progress and communicate effectively with parents and colleagues.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity and exploration.
  • Collaborate with team members to plan and execute daily activities, ensuring they align with curriculum goals.
  • Prioritize the safety, health, and wellbeing of all children, following relevant regulations and guidelines.
  • Maintain a clean and organized classroom, ensuring it meets all regulatory standards and is conducive to learning.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma in Early Childhood Education or an equivalent qualification.
  • A genuine passion for early childhood education and a commitment to fostering child development.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with children, parents, and colleagues effectively.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, sharing ideas and contributing to a positive work environment.
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards in early childhood education.
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification preferred.

Job Types:

Salary:
$ $39.42 per hour

Expected hours: 30 per week
