The role

  • Full Time, Continuing
  • Level 4 - $68,892 to $74,785 p.a. (plus 17% superannuation)
  • Wagga Wagga

You will use your extensive knowledge of the Australian livestock industry to provide leadership and business acumen to support the coordination of cropping programs across research and learning activities of the University.

You will work with experienced agronomy teams to ensure and monitor crop health, pest and disease management and ensure crop protection measures are implemented effectively. Whilst ensuring all equipment and machinery and well maintained and continuously upholding safety protocols and regulations.

As part of this recruitment, a pre-employment functional screening is required.

About you

  • Relevant qualifications and or experience
  • Demonstrated hands-on farming experience
  • Physical capacity to undertake manual labor and demonstrated manual handling techniques
  • Knowledge of modern agricultural machinery and practices and ability to operate and maintain farm machinery
  • Current NSW C class drivers licence
