Regional Sales Manager

In your role, you will:
- Through direct contact with Business Aircraft owners & operators, actively market, negotiate, and sell the following aftermarket services to meet or exceed assigned goals:
- Maintenance and modifications for the Melbourne Service Centre
- Bombardier's Smart Services and other Program offerings.
- Spare parts to include initial provisioning, customer stock, and ground support equipment.
- Component repair and overhaul (CR&O) services
- Promote and sell new products and service offerings as introduced by Bombardier and our Partners.
- Continuously promote and sell the value of the OEM.
- Routinely visit customers to build and maintain profitable longterm relationships with new and existing operators. Provide support for their parts, and services needs with a goal of increased market share.
- Develop tailored sales strategies to increase sales capture and win rates by:
- Profiling to understand customer operational needs.
- Consulting with customers to define service needs and present competitive, accurate and timely proposals.
- Lead commercial negotiations with customers and internal departments regarding pricing, downtime, incentives, and customer part provisioning.
- Negotiate proposals and service agreements with customers, ensuring mutual benefits and value.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance and customer feedback and provide reports and recommendations to management.
- Participate in Bombardier events and industry trade shows, as required.
- Stay updated on market requirements & trends, competitor activity, and industry best practices.
- Actively maintain sales pipeline and complete required reporting activity within Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool, and other systems as required.
- Adhere to Bombardier Code of Ethics, Compliance, and general workplace practices.
- A minimum of six (6) years' experience in aviation and / or aircraft maintenance
_with _a focus on business development in aftermarket servicing. - Product knowledge of business aircraft maintenance and maintenance programs, including warranty, Smart Parts, vendor programs, SAP, and CAMP.
- Aircraft maintenance, maintenance programs and planning, and / or technical training equivalent.
- Working knowledge of aircraft service industry and what drives business margin
- Customer Service background / experience with superb customer orientation.
- Negotiation and leadership skills necessary to engage teams to impact and influence results.
- Skills necessary to confront sales obstacles in an objective, professional manner.
- Strong communications experience in both verbal and written form.
- Ability to work in teams or independently as situation requires with urgency, drive, and perseverance.
- Ability to develop and execute a business strategy to achieve short, and midrange, years) sales targets.
- Be autonomous, independent, and selfmotivated in managing time and prioritizing tasks.
- Ability to travel nationally and internationally on demand when necessary to support sales efforts.
- Flexibility to travel and attend meetings before / after regularly scheduled hours.
