HVAC Technician

The Refrigeration Mechanic/HVAC Technician is responsible for maintaining and repairing equipment related to the HVAC infrastructure at the Joint Defense Facility Pine Gap (JDFPG). This includes tasks such as servicing large chillers, refrigeration equipment, cooling systems, air conditioning systems, and fleet vehicles. The job involves a variety of repair, maintenance, and equipment replacement duties.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Essential Function

  • Coordinating tasks with others
  • Ensuring equipment safety

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Personnel must be physically fit to perform all required tasks. While the role is mostly sedentary, personnel should be able to access areas and carry out tasks without compromising their health.

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENT

All employees at JDFPG must obtain and maintain the necessary security and medical clearances. This includes obtaining and keeping a TSPV Department of Defense Security Clearance (Australian) or TS/SCI (U.S.) clearance.

STATEMENT OF WORK REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English
