An opportunity is now available to join their Investment Operations (Middle Office) team.

As an Associate in Investment Operations, you will play a key role in the smooth running of their middle office function with oversight of fund administration and unit pricing completed by third party vendors. This position offers the chance to broaden your skill set and contribute to the company's growth and success as your time is split between BAU tasks as well as projects and process enhancements.

This is a diverse and challenging role that will provide continued growth and development with a market leading firm.

Typical duties and responsibilities:

  • Oversight of daily fund operations among service providers, transfer agents, custodians, fund accountants
  • Support new fund products and trading instruments.
  • Ensure capital events are accurately reflected on client portfolios held on platforms and in a timely manner.
  • Assist in the investment subscriptions and commitments process.
  • Perform quarterly reconciliations on investment records and maintenance of performance models, transaction events and accurate reporting.
  • Performing and reviewing unit pricing calculations.
  • Monitor adherence to contractual policies, procedures & controls through review of Service Level Agreements
  • Proactively identify opportunities for process involvement.
  • Escalate issues from internal & external stakeholders to assist in resolution
  • Support special projects and initiatives for Investment Operations and other groups on an ad hoc basis

The successful candidate will have:

  • Previous experience from investment operations, ideally in a similar middle or back office operations role with exposure to fund administration / unit pricing
  • High initiative and a passion for process improvements
  • Relevant degree / post graduate qualification preferred
  • Excellent stakeholder and communication skills
