Project Overview:

The Pluto Train 2 project entails the construction of an additional LNG train at the existing Pluto LNG onshore facility near Karratha in Western Australia, managed by Woodside Energy.

Pluto Train 2 is designed to process Scarborough gas and is projected to have an LNG capacity of approximately 5 million tonnes per year. As part of this project, additional domestic gas infrastructure will be integrated to boost the capacity to about 225 Terajoules per day. Bechtel has been chosen by Woodside Energy to oversee the Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Commissioning activities for Pluto Train 2.

Woodside Energy, a key player in Australia's natural gas production sector, has entrusted Bechtel to support the escalating global demand for LNG as an interim energy source.

Job Summary:

You will be responsible for supervising the Medical Subcontractor across two medical clinics to coordinate the implementation of site medical plans, protocols, facility needs, contract execution, audits, inspections, quality assurance, and other medical practice management duties. Your role will focus on enhancing the health, safety, and well-being of on-site employees.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Supervise all aspects of health services subcontractor including clinical, operational, technical, and budgetary aspects.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, emergency procedures, and health regulations through the proper execution of medical services contracts.
  • Participate in monthly Progress Meetings to oversee the medical services contract.
  • Coordinate daily operations of the health services provider, including staffing, budget reviews, and document verification.
  • Facilitate reviews of work-related injuries, illnesses, and wellbeing programs.
  • Assist in Worker's Compensation and Return To Work processes.
  • Provide necessary reports to Health, Safety, and Environmental Manager.

Education and Experience Requirements:

You should possess a Bachelor's degree in nursing or equivalent international qualification, coupled with 5-8 years of relevant experience in occupational health management, subcontractor management, and contract oversight.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Effective communication and collaboration with healthcare professionals and agencies.
  • Capacity to work efficiently in a multidisciplinary team.
  • Understanding of subcontractor and contract management.
  • Experience in clinic oversight within an occupational health setting.
  • Conducting audits and quality assessments on health services.
  • Familiarity with Occupational Health Standards and Regulations.

Additional Information:

This role involves exposure to various environmental, construction, and operational conditions, such as walking on construction sites, working at heights, and in different shifts. Candidates must adhere to safety protocols and appropriate Personal Protection Equipment.
