The Bayside Acute Care Team (ACT), Metro South Addictions and Mental Health Service are seeking a Multi-disciplinary Team Leader. Join the team at Metro South Addiction and Mental Health Services (MSAMHS) involved in delivering various specialist addiction and mental health services within the Metro South catchment, including community-based ambulatory and residential services, care services in the community, psychiatric rehabilitation, and addiction services. About the Role

  • Facilitate evidence-based practice among interprofessional team members in Bayside ACT to enhance service efficiency and discharge planning effectiveness by implementing quality initiatives, conducting literature reviews, participating in professional development activities, and engaging in research and education efforts.
  • Offer operational guidance to mental health professionals to ensure effective service delivery and quality outcomes, leveraging change management, conflict resolution, and negotiation skills when required.
  • Provide clinical direction to a team of multi-disciplinary clinicians, ensuring quality service delivery through effective leadership, change management, conflict resolution, and negotiation skills.
  • Lead collaborative efforts and change management to introduce innovative service models within the Bayside ACT team, engaging stakeholders, developing educational materials, and communicating new developments and outcomes efficiently.
