Property & Buildings

Our Property and Buildings team is a community of built environment experts, driven by a passion to create sustainable, accessible, and resilient communities. Through powerful partnerships and multidisciplinary collaboration, we design places to deliver social, environmental and financial value for clients around our changing world.

What you'll do:

  • Contribute to the development of the Property and Buildings groups strategic goals.
  • Represent and promote the business with the local and regional markets.
  • Have the opportunity to mentor and support the development of the junior team; leading by example.
  • Undertake the lead or support a Senior Engineer in the engineering design and documentation on multidisciplinary projects.
  • Communicate effectively with all external (clients, authorities) and internal (colleagues, managers).
  • Deliver best practice and outcomes for clients, saving on costs and time.

About You

You're likely to meet the following criteria, however we are happy to see applications from all candidates. You do not need to meet every single criteria listed below.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Science or Equivalent
  • Developing technical skills across a broad range of areas within discipline (fire protection, wet & dry fire)
  • Basic use of BIM software (Revit MEP) and how to use and review models
  • Ability to prepare technical reports on small to medium projects.
  • Ability to Project Lead small projects. Developing experience in monitoring and managing the scope of multiple varying size projects and applying business systems.
  • Developing capacity to deliver best client outcomes/ options which have saved the client cost/time.
  • Experience in applying legislation, standards, guidelines and project specifications.
  • Developing skills to identify risk in small to medium profile projects.
  • Ability to apply QA and OH&S systems. Auditing of other more junior staff
  • Contributes to developing the technical capability of junior staff.
