About the Company: We have teamed up with a well-known Fin-Tech company based in Sydney, specializing in the exchange-traded funds (ETFs) sector.

They are in search of an experienced and devoted Risk Compliance Manager to join their dynamic team. This presents a great chance for a seasoned professional aiming to have a significant influence in a flourishing industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the risk management framework for an AFSL (Australian Financial Services License) holder.
  • Handle and resolve breaches and incidents effectively.
  • Create thorough risk reports and offer practical recommendations to senior management.
  • Present concepts, viewpoints, and concerns to senior management with clarity and assurance.

Key Requirements:

  • More than 5 years of experience in financial services, especially in funds or investment platforms.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in upholding an AFSL holder's risk management framework.
  • Proven capacity to manage breaches and incidents.
  • Solid background in producing risk reports and delivering recommendations to senior management.
  • Outstanding communication skills, both verbally and in writing, with the ability to articulate complex concepts and issues clearly.
  • Exceptional organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks concurrently.
  • Able to work autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field, preferably with a background in law.

Qualifications:

  • Tertiary qualifications in finance, law, or a related discipline.
  • Extensive experience in financial services, particularly in funds or investment platforms.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Attention to detail and proficient writing skills.
