APS 6 Level Reporting Officer, to join our client who are a federal agency.


  • Attractive hourly rate of $60.26 per hour including casual loading plus 10.5% superannuation.
  • Located in Canberra ACT.
  • Start date is ASAP for an initial 12months assignment plus possibility of an extension, pending business requirements.
  • 37.5 per week Monday to Friday.

About the role


The Reporting Officer is an important team membership position within the Agency and will support the team to resolve issues and risks across wide-ranging activities of substantial depth involving significant detail.

The position will exercise a considerable degree of independence to engage in complex problem solving and issues management within the various functions.

The position will exercise sound decision-making and judgement to produce high level reporting and planning advice and operational support.

Responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:

  • Contributing to Corporate Plan reporting processes for Board and Executive Leadership Team (ELT) reports and other reporting activities as required.
  • Coordinating input to produce relevant, timely and accurate reports and ensuring branch reporting activities adhere to Agency standards and frameworks.
  • Assisting in the development of the Agency annual work plan and Corporate Plan strategy.
  • Providing local reporting requirement advice and support to business areas.
  • Leading and/or supporting continuous improvement activities as they arise within the team.
  • Assist in maintaining the Agency work plan.

About you

  • You must be able to demonstrate your ability to produce accurate reports and provide reporting requirement advice to business areas.
  • Have strong MS Office skills and attention to detail to produce documents.
  • Be able to demonstrate skills in Planning and coordinating.
  • You MUST be an
    Australian Citizen for this role.
  • Be able to pass a National Police and Working With Children Check
