The opportunity
Seeking a Part Time Maintenance Fitter to carry out the following tasks and mentor maintenance apprentice.

  • Perform scheduled preventative maintenance.
  • Conduct fault finding and repairs during breakdowns.
  • Adhere to Health and Safety regulations.
  • Regularly inspect, monitor, and maintain machinery.
  • Fabricate equipment for the processing facility.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Certificate III in Engineering (Mechanical Trade) or equivalent.
  • Prior experience in an industrial manufacturing role.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a positive and proactive attitude.
  • Capability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Valuable assets include Forklift license, TIG/MIG Welding experience, and exposure to the Food Industry.

Schedule:

  • 20 hours per week, Mon to Fri, from 12pm to 4pm.
  • Hourly rate: $40 - $45.
  • Candidates will undergo Drug and Alcohol screening during the interview phase.
