As
Head Bartender, you will provide an outstanding level of service to all guests using your enthusiasm and confidence to deliver a guest experience that is unique and brings the brand to life.

Reporting to the Food & Beverage Manager, you will be responsible for running our Barracks Bar and leading the team while on shift.

You will be providing our guests with exceptional service whilst ensuring the shift runs smoothly and the team are looked after.


A little taste of your day-to-day:

  • Creating a warm welcome for every single guest that sets the tone for their experience with us
  • Preparing and serving drinks to a high standard as well as highlighting promotions for our guests
  • Owning your bar managing stock, inventory and equipment as well as keeping the space cleaner than clean
  • Leading the team while on shift and ensuring the team have everything they need to succeed
  • Developing new promotions and cocktails for our Barracks Bar
  • Handling cash and credit card transactions
  • Working closely with your colleagues to deliver a truly seamless food service

What we need from you:
  • A flair for service, natural ability to build rapport and most importantly you love what you do
  • Previous experience in a premium restaurant or bar
  • Strong cocktail knowledge, both classical and curated, with an interest in creating your own
  • Excellent product knowledge including spirits, wines and beers and confidence in making a recommendation to a guest
  • A current NSW Responsible Service of Alcohol qualification
  • Strong communication skills and a high standard of personal presentation
  • This is a
    full time role, you will be required to work on a rotating roster including weekdays, weekends and public holidays
