Customer Service Officer

Part Time, Fixed term from June 2023 to October 2023.
ABOUT THE POSITIONS:
- 1 Position 72 hours and 30 minutes per fortnight equivalent to 10 shifts a fortnight
- 1 Position 50 hours and 45 minutes per fortnight equivalent to 7 shifts a fortnight
- 2 Positions 43 hours and 30 minutes per fortnight equivalent to 6 shifts a fortnight
Other key responsibilities include:
- Supporting the NGV Audience Engagement team by providing exceptional customer service for children, families and adults.
- Providing basic information on exhibitions, programs and facilities while maintaining the highest level of customer service.
- Overseeing the use of exhibition equipment.
- Assisting the Senior Project Officer (Audience Engagement), with the setup, maintenance and facilitation of the NGV Kids gallery space.
You will actively approach and seek to meet the needs of the customers by listening and looking for information needed to solve problems.
You inspire trust by treating all individuals fairly and identify and propose practical solutions to improve customer service, clearly explain information; listen to feedback and maintain a polite and considerate manner when assisting others.
Please note:
- You will be required to wear a uniform during work hours as chosen by the business.
- You may be required to work on weekends, public holidays and evenings.
- Fixedterm employment is for the period of the period June 2023 to October 2023 in line with the Pierre Bonnard exhibition.
