We currently have a fantastic opportunity to join our Logistics team, within our Operations Division on a 12-month fixed term as a Coordinator - Domestic Market.

This role will handle and administer all customer requested grain access for delivery to the domestic market.

Reporting to the Manager - Domestic Market and working closely with operational personnel in head office and regional areas, the key deliverables for the role are:

  • Assist in administration of all Logistics functions, processes and services used by customers;
  • Maintain IBIS database relating to the stock entitlements required for domestic sites;
  • Ensure grain services planned can be offered at sites with suitable hours/booking slots;
  • Liaise with customers on weekly outturn requirements and best options for access to sites/stocks;
  • Approve Site Entitlement Transfers and Outturn Requests;
  • Liaise with transporters for freight rates and transport services for delivery to domestic end-users; when requested by the customer. Confirm availability and rates with customers;
  • Investigate and provide customers with options when their grain is not available at the domestic site requested;
  • Data entry & maintenance for Outturn Requests in IBIS and capturing charges;
  • Oversee outturn quality issues in conjunction with the Quality team; and
  • Liaise with growers requesting access to their warehoused grain for outturn, set up outturn contracts and communicate details to growers and staff, ensuring freight charges are invoiced correctly.

What you will bring to the role:

  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills;
  • Sound organisational and time management skills with ability to prioritise;
  • Strong conceptual, analytical and problems solving ability;
  • Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a team;
  • Good commercial acumen; and
  • Excellent knowledge of grain operations, logistics or commercial services.
