About the role

As a Talent and Culture Consultant for Workers Compensation and Injury Management, you will drive the employee experience by assessing employee and business needs and delivering end-to-end employee journeys through employee focused solutions within the ANZ Group. You are responsible for delivery of best practice regulatory compliant, injury and claims management services to ANZ Group's employees and Business Managers. You will also provide advice and guidance to employees, navigating solutions and escalating unresolved cases where necessary, taking accountability for the employee experience in everything you do.

Your role requires an advanced level of experience in the worker's compensation or rehabilitation industry, together with a high focus on continuous improvement as you will also support the strategy of Workers Compensation and Injury Management by implementing processes to ensure effective and efficient delivery.

Role Location: 833 Collins Street, Docklands VIC 3008

Role Type: Permanent, 40 hours per week

*Note: This role has high preference for Melbourne-based candidates, but is also open to Sydney, Brisbane, or Adelaide.

Completion of ANZ's acquisition of Suncorp Bank remains subject to legislative amendments by the Queensland Parliament and approval by the Federal Treasurer. Assuming these conditions are satisfied, completion of the acquisition is expected to occur in or around mid-calendar year 2024.

What will you bring?

To grow and be successful in the role, you will ideally bring the following:

  • Experience in Injury Management at a senior level including management of complex psychological and physical conditions
  • Proven proactive and strategic return to work case management skills
  • Experience in a Comcare Self-Insured environment and/ or state-based Workers Compensation
  • Strong planning and organisation capabilities, and the ability to manage competing priorities
  • Proven experience in claims and injury management or advanced knowledge of claims and injury management practices
  • High level of understanding of legislative and regulatory requirements pertinent to the role and a well-developed network of Injury Management, Rehabilitation and legal providers
  • Demonstrated experience and success building strong and collaborative working relationships
  • Tertiary qualification in a Health-related discipline
