YOUR NEXT EMPLOYER

Is a fast growing and successful privately owned Freight Forwarder who are well known as a true International Freight specialist.

Established over 30 years ago now employing over 120 staff throughout Australia and overseas.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

  • Handling Import FCL/LCL, liaising with Carriers, Service Providers and Overseas Partners. Coordinating and managing end-to-end solutions for Customers
  • Ensuring ongoing Customer satisfaction through effective and efficient responses to customer enquiries, issues, and concerns as well as develop new opportunities in different trade lanes, services.
  • PO management, follow up, execution and job completion to enable invoicing in a timely fashion
  • Weekly reports on current position, opportunities, threats and profitability
  • Facilitating the communication between the Customers and relevant internal departments (customs, claims, landside)
  • Track and trace of international cargo, provide regular status reports.

TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS ROLE YOU WILL HAVE

  • Strong Import or Export Freight Forwarder experience in both Sea and Air (at least 1-year experience with Cargowise)
  • Personable, energetic and communicative as well as being organised and time efficient
  • Ability to perform end-to-end import operations services
  • High level of accuracy and the ability to prioritise workload cope under pressure
  • Relationship building with all stakeholders and who can work independently and/or as part of a team.
  • Desire to be a part of/and appreciation for the challenges and rewards of working in a growing business.
