For over 40 years Chandler Macleod's recruitment business has connected leading-edge projects and employers with outstanding business professionals. Our client is looking for a Communications Advisor to join their busy team on a long-term temporary assignment.

About the role:

  • Assisting the Senior Communications Advisor and projects team with providing communication advice and support in relation to risk assessment, issues management, community consultation and communication strategies Assisting with media statements, responses to media, speech notes, briefing notes, ministerials and any other communications as required by the minister's office
  • Assisting with community and stakeholder engagement
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of communication strategies, activities and procedures
  • Gathering information and writing articulates and promotional materials
  • Coordinating and managing the intranet and internet content

About you:

  • You will have previous experience working in Communications, Marketing or Media previously
  • Demonstrated experience in stakeholder relations and communications
  • You will have experience managing priorities and workloads to ensure critical deadlines and priorities are met
  • You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • You will have excellent stakeholder management experience
  • You will have intermediate to advanced IT skills
