Truly give back to the Wyndham community by actively working on enhancing local areas and providing a sense of pride to Wyndham residents.

As Place Making Officer, you will effectively coordinate place making initiatives throughout Wyndham's Activity Centres and achieve great outcomes for the community - turning ordinary places into participatory spaces Working collaboratively with Council teams and external stakeholders, you will successfully enhance the Wyndham region - putting Wyndham on the map


You will play an integral role in helping to stimulate the local economy during its recovery from Covid-19, attracting Wyndham residents and visitors to enjoy all that Wyndham has to offer.

  • Strategic and collaborative planning for delivery of place making initiatives
  • Enhanced Wyndham public spaces, ensuring great outcomes for Wyndham's growing community
  • Great working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, resulting in a collaborative and dynamic work environment
  • Creative and innovative approaches to place making in Wyndham

What you'll bring

  • Demonstrated ability in place making and activation, local government experience preferable.
  • Skills and experience in collaborating with businesses to achieve shared outcomes
  • Skills and experience in measuring outcomes
  • Successful track record in enhancing local public spaces
  • Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively as part of a team
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A positive, curious, and creative mind
