About the role


As a legal secretary, you will be part of a busy practice supporting the team in all areas of administrative support, including, but not limited to: managing crucial team administration; handling client queries; and managing the monthly billing process.


What does being a legal secretary look like?
Our secretaries are involved in work that is dynamic and varied in nature.

Your primary role will be to support the practice group with administrative tasks and you will play a pivotal role within the team in ensuring the practice runs smoothly.


On any given day you could be:

  • Managing diaries, juggling and arranging appointments, booking rooms and ultimately ensuring client needs are met
  • Providing administrative support to partners and fee earners in the practice group
  • Preparing documents and correspondence
  • Managing team filing
  • Managing confidential firm information and opening new matters
  • Maintaining and inputting client data into client relationship software (Interaction)
  • Handling client queries
  • Managing the monthly billing process

Strong Microsoft Office skills are essential, as are excellent communication skills.

You understand how a business operates and you will be capable using automated billing systems and client relationship management software (Elite and InterAction preferred).
