About the Role
12 Months Contract Canberra Location Federal Government
We're seeking a skilled Cloud & Infrastructure Manager with expertise in Microsoft Azure and Windows Server platforms.

You have a strong background in cloud and on-premises infrastructure management, with a focus on optimizing performance, reliability, and security.

Your proactive approach and ability to navigate between different environments will be essential in this role.

Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
Manage client's cloud and on-premises infrastructure on Microsoft Azure and Windows Server platforms.
Support projects in effectively utilizing clients' technology platforms.
Identify platform and infrastructure requirements based on project needs.
Facilitate the transition of project activity between on-premises and cloud environments.
Optimize performance, reliability, and security of infrastructure components.
Monitor infrastructure health and performance, and implement necessary improvements.
Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to resolve infrastructure-related issues.

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in cloud and infrastructure management.
Expertise in Microsoft Azure and Windows Server platforms.
Strong understanding of cloud computing principles and best practices.
Experience in infrastructure automation and configuration management (e.g., Power Shell, ARM templates).
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
