Our NSW Land and Housing Corporation (LAHC) team is currently seeking to appoint a
Supervisor Compliance Inspections within the North West Region.

This role is based out of our Coffs Harbour office, however, we will consider alternate office locations for the successful applicant.

This role covers the North Coast and Western part of the state inclusive of regional areas and you will be required to manage staff working on compliance inspections, to ensure that the required numbers of inspections are carried out, within required timeframes and to an appropriate standard.

The successful applicant will be someone who can respond to, address and check compliance issues in relation to the contract is a prompt manner and support and develop their team.

You will have strong stakeholder skills as you will be dealing with a diverse range of stakeholders in the day to day.

This is an opportunity to work along side AMS building contractors to deliver vital maintenance services and met the compliance requirements for those services for the people of NSW.


This is an excellent opportunity for to join a dedicated team and develop your management skills in a role that offers growth opportunity.


Essential Requirements

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or sound construction building maintenance and/or building construction experience/exposure
  • Some field work via site meetings to provide determinations as required (estimated 10% of time), including travel on occasions
  • Understanding of the Australian Building Codes, Australian Standards, Government or commercial probity and contracting standards.

A key feature is the Communities Plus program, which is designed to fast-track the redevelopment of LAHC's social housing portfolio in partnership with the private and community housing sector to deliver significant new and replacement social housing dwellings that are integrated with affordable private dwellings.
