This company is a leading player in Sydney's Access & Material Handling Equipment Market.

Their operation has been growing for well over a decade, and they proudly represent several high-quality equipment manufacturers in the construction machinery space.

Based in Western Sydney the business is currently experiencing fantastic growth and are now looking to grow the team.

Position
An exciting opportunity now presents itself for a Workshop Manager to join the branch in Sydney's Western Suburbs.

The role has the below responsibilities:

  • Lead, manage and hold responsibility over the branches large service department
  • Directly manage a team of approx. 10 staff including tradespeople and coordinators
  • Promote the safe and efficient running of the workshop
  • Schedule and liaise with technicians to attend field service calls
  • Ensure a high standard of workmanship is being upheld
  • Training new recruits
  • Deal directly with clients and manage escalated issues
  • Ensure the branch meets and exceeds service KPIs
  • Provide technical and handson support to technicians when needed

Experience working with mobile plant such as telehandlers, ewp's, forklifts, agricultural, forestry, earthmoving, mining or truck/bus, although not necessary would be preferred.

  • The ability to work autonomously and to managements expectations
