The opportunity

Join Flow Power as an Operations Analyst and play a key role in ensuring our operations run seamlessly. Focusing on onboarding and billing processes, you will utilise our cutting edge kWatch system – a powerful in-house invoicing and customer management platform developed by our CEO. In this role, you will provide technical support, troubleshoot issues, and proactively seek ways to enhance system performance to efficiently meet our operational goals.

Key responsibilities

Task Management in kWatch

  • Efficiently manage operational tasks from initiation to completion using the kWatch system
  • Collaborate with local and offshore teams to address operational challenges
  • Maintain professional communication with stakeholders including networks, AEMO, and team members
  • Handle monthly and fortnightly invoicing for residential and C&I customers using kWatch
  • Generate and maintain invoice reports, resolving any discrepancies
  • Offer insights and suggestions for process enhancements

Retailer and Distributor Reconciliation

  • Manage reconciliation processes using kWatch to identify and resolve errors
  • Ensure discrepancies are flagged and actioned according to Flow Power's business rules
  • Utilise kWatch reports to provide stakeholders with reconciliation status

Onboarding and Service Orders Management

  • Oversee client onboarding processes in collaboration with sales and customer success teams
  • Provide support and guidance to stakeholders throughout the onboarding and service order management phases

Tariff Analysis & Data Analysis

  • Provide tariff analysis reports for customers
  • Determine optimal prices and network tariffs for customers through tariff analysis
  • Handle ad-hoc data analysis requests related to retailer products and invoicing

System Utilisation (kWatch) and Process Improvement Mapping

  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency enhancement
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure optimal system performance
About you

You have a strong interest in the operations of the national energy market with a passion for optimising processes with system automation. You also possess the following skills:

  • Experience in problem solving and analysis
  • Ability to work collaboratively to achieve goals
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and liaison skills
  • Continuous improvement attitude
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills
  • Strong planning and time management skills
