About this role:

You can expect some of the responsibilities of the role to include:

  • Ensure that all handover and acceptance plans, procedures and other documents from the contractor comply to Queensland Rail standards
  • Anticipate and escalate potentially significant safety risks
  • Support internal and external stakeholders in the delivery of rail infrastructure outcomes within an asset management framework

What you can bring to the role:

  • Extensive knowledge of Engineering principles, standards and practices throughout the asset lifecycle
  • High level of skill in dealing with railway transport operations, construction, maintenance and safety standards
  • High level of leadership and management skills in delivering timecritical complex project issues
  • High level of skill in meeting statutory, regulatory and policy obligations
  • High level of influencing, interpersonal, communication and consultation skills
