Due to the continuous expansion in our Urban Development and Revitalization sector, we are seeking skilled Civil Construction Engineers to join our workforce. These professionals will be responsible for overseeing land development initiatives, particularly focusing on residential greenfield sites, urban regeneration, industrial areas, roads, public facilities, and water-related projects.
Role accountabilities:
Your primary responsibilities will involve:
- Handling Construction Phase Services, encompassing: compiling Bill of Quantities, creating tender and construction documentation, overseeing construction activities, conducting site inspections and meetings, and managing contracts;
- Offering technical guidance to project team members and addressing construction challenges as they arise;
- Cultivating and sustaining professional connections with stakeholders such as Clients, Contractors, Project Managers, and Authorities;
- Generating valuable input to projects through innovation and technical resolutions;
Additionally, your role might entail:
- Conducting technical civil engineering design and reporting, including: performing Site feasibility studies, drafting preliminary civil designs and cost estimates for potential land development sites, preparing Civil Engineering Services Reports, conducting Safety in Design assessments, and delivering high-quality design documentation adhering to program, budget, specifications, and standards;
Qualifications & Experience:
Above all, you must share our zeal for enhancing the quality of life through involvement in city-shaping ventures and delivering optimal solutions to our clients. As a tertiary-qualified engineer with experience in Australian urban development projects, you should possess:
- A degree in Engineering (Civil);
- Experience working with SEQ Councils and water regulatory bodies;
- 5 to 8 years of civil engineering experience in Australian urban development, with exposure to residential and industrial subdivisions;
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or 12d would be advantageous;
- Strong communication, project management, and report writing abilities;
- A client-centric approach and a solid technical acumen are essential for excelling in your role and contributing to Arcadis' triumph.
