The opportunity

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and ensure data accuracy from all HRIS sources to enable effective remuneration decision making

Propose and draft material to support managers to better understand and execute remuneration related decisions

Propose and draft materials to share current benefits and remuneration processes

Run audit reports to ensure equity of processes and accuracy of bulk changes

Review and maintain all benefit plans

Working with internal communications, ensure communication of new and existing benefits are available to all employees

Own the Mercer relationship and leverage insights to share with wider team to ensure knowledge sharing

Propose alternative suggestions to existing remuneration practices to support strategies to attract and retain key individuals

Acts as independent decision maker for all P&C related remuneration decisions

Review all remuneration against current processes for error and compliance

Act as point of contact for all salary related information

Work alongside finance for budgeting, FBT, relocation and other reportable purposes

As our first Compensation & Benefits Analyst, you have an opportunity to make your mark but setting the foundations and challenge how we operate.

From benefit plans to salary reviews, we look to you to provide industry insights and opportunities to change our current practices to make them better for our people.


Experience required:

Experience with industry benchmarking tools eg Mercer, Towers Watson, Hay

At least 3 years experience working with salary reviews

Able to work as part of a team and independently

Strong analytical skills and used to working with large volumes of data

High attention to detail

Advanced Excel capability

Strong communication skills with ability to present complex data succinctly and clearly so that it is understood and decisions can be taken

Able to make recommendations based on all information provided not just data points

Desirable

Position grading methodology exposure eg Hay

Experience designing incentive plans

PAYG or payroll exposure

Experience with SAGE and/or Anaplan
