About the role:

Aurizon has an excellent opportunity for an experienced administrator to join our outstanding Operations Team on a permanent part-time arrangement (9 days per fortnight). Reporting to the Regional Operations Manager, the duties of this position include, but are not limited to:

Provision of professional administrative support to Leaders and employees within the Esperance depot.

  • Liaison with stakeholders and customers and coordination of meetings and forums in a customer focused manner.
  • Provide document control management for central and local document repository.
  • Performance of arrange of database system processing and administrative functions through input, maintenance, and reporting of date within various HR systems and communication tools.
  • Coordination of equipment acquisition and supply ordering for the team, when required.
  • Coordination, delivery, and assistance with implementation of administrative programs and functional initiatives across the Esperance depot.
  • Response to all enquiries in a timely and efficient manner within team's SLAs, with commitment to high quality customer service including assistance with internal and third-party vendor stakeholder management.
  • Creation and processing of purchasing transactions in accordance with Customer Service Level Agreements.
  • Specific duties may vary over time.

About you:

  • Strong organisational and administrative skills.
  • Strong interpersonal communication and the ability to influence key stakeholders.
  • Substantial knowledge of processes and procedures relating to HR, financial and procurement management systems.
  • Substantial level of skill in working in a team environment that is results oriented and demonstrates core organisational values of leadership, customer focus, creativity and innovation and respect for people in all actions.
  • Substantial level of organisational skills including meeting deadlines and providing a quality, professional service to meet customer needs.
  • Substantial level of interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
  • Sound level of analytical, decision making and problem-solving skills.
  • Sound computer skills including experience with Microsoft Office suite of programs to enhance administrative support.
  • Ability to work as an effective member of a team and build relationships for results.
  • Substantial level of skill in processing information in relevant computer systems.
  • Substantial knowledge of processes relating to financial and procurement management systems.
