We are looking for a passionate individual who gets enjoyment from problem solving and investigating faults and issues with all types of devices.

Have you built your own computer at home? Did you pull apart and diagnose faults with laptops? Have you resolved issues with a gaming device not turning on? Are you the go to person amongst your friends and family for any issues they may have with their electronic devices? We are working with a large client located in Bundamba, Ipswich looking to bring on a Junior Electronics Technician to provide on the job training working with a range of equipment from small handheld devices to large equipment.

The Role:

  • Learn how to diagnose and repair electronic equipment, connectivity issues and related troubleshooting
  • Ensure department repairs are properly updated in the system and cases are closed in a timely manner
  • Demonstrate and explain to users the basic operation of installed equipment.
  • Follows safe working practices in accordance with company safety standards.


Skills & Experience:

  • Certificates in Electrical/ Electronic Engineering, or equivalent qualifications/experience
  • Experience as a Repair Technician would be advantageous
  • A good knowledge of electrical, electronic, mechanical and software systems and the ability to apply them.
  • Willingness to learn new things with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to read, interpret and understand documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedural documents (viewed favourably)
  • Physically fit
  • Good IT/PC proficiency
  • Friendly attitude with excellent communication and relationship building skills.
