Electrical Project Manager

Design & Build Recruitment has partnered with a leading EPC firm to find a talented and experienced Electrical Project Managerto work on-site leading a large-scale energy project in Melbourne.
The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in the construction field and a proven track record of on-site management of large-scale energy projects This is an opportunity for an experienced Project Managerto lead the Construction of one of the largest BESS projects in the southern hemisphere.
Construction has only just commenced, with expected completion towards the end of 2025.Company has a strong forward order book so will look to mobilise the PM to future works Key Responsibilities for the Project Manager : Take full responsibility for the electrical scope on site.
Advise on procurement and subcontractor selectionOversee adherence to the Management Plan while on site.
Demonstrate robust management and leadership skills on the site.
Communicate effectively and clearly with all stakeholders.
Ensuring that work areas, methods, materials, and equipment meet Environmental and WHS regulations and standards through inspections and tests.
Inspecting subcontractor completed works and signing off ITPs (Inspection and Test Plans).
Deliver high-quality outcomes that satisfy the customer.
Ensure strong team morale on site.
High levels of job satisfaction in your Team.
Requirements for the Project Manager :
Experience in a similar role in large-scale energy project and EPC environment
Able to interface with other disciplines (Civils)
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
