Virtuosi School of Music seeks an experienced piano tutor to join our teaching team in Term 1, 2023. Our mission is to develop and nurture excellence in music through our high standard of tuition

The successful applicant will:

provide individual tuition to students of all ages and abilities; encourage and prepare students for concerts, examinations and auditions; work as part of a team to achieve the school's goals; and hold a current a "Working with Children" Blue Card.


Preference will be given to applicants with:

demonstrated teaching experience; demonstrated ability to work successfully in an educational institution as part of a team; and tertiary or other relevant music qualifications.

Current hours are for one or two afternoons/evenings per week at our studios in Grange.

Job Types:
Part-time, Subcontract

Part-time hours: 4-12 per week

Salary:
$ $45.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • Afternoon shift

COVID-19 considerations:
Customers are required to wear a mask when social distancing is not possible. Surfaces are regularly cleaned. Online teaching possible when staff and students are required to isolate.

Experience:

- teaching: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • Working with Children Check (preferred)
