Downtown Creative Studios is looking for passionate and reliable instrumental teachers to join our team.

Downtown Creative Studios is a private, one-to-one music lesson school located in the Grange, Brisbane. Boasting over 400 students per week, 2023 has been a year for major growth and opportunity for our school.

We are looking for new vocal and instrumental teachers, specifically but not limited to piano, guitar, and drum teachers, committed to teaching at our studio and in our local primary schools.

Our new singing and instrumental teachers will:

• Have a Tertiary Music Education (Bachelor of Music) and/or at least Grade 8 AMEB certificate and/or equivalent.
• Be prosocial and possess strong interpersonal skills with a focus on communicative dexterity. The successful applicant must also be willing to prepare lessons for each student, upload homework and resources to our online platforms weekly for students and engage in Q&A with clients.
• Already have teaching experience and have the ability to teach and prepare students for vocal exams (AMEB/Rockschool), eisteddfods, auditions and performance opportunities.
• Be able and willing to teach students ranging in age and skill levels from absolute beginner to intermediate/advanced.
• Be open to constructive feedback and receptive towards the Directors' input and requests.
• Have an uptodate positive blue card
• Have QLD drivers licence and their own vehicle
• Be willing to adhere to studio policy's and procedures

This position is currently available for multiple afternoon/evening a week as well as the opportunity for daytime work during school hours
